2001 one of a kind !
This is my 'other' Gordon-Smith. I was so pleased with the little brown bombshell I had bought off the truck guy in Scotland that as soon as I had my finances back in shape after 6 months overseas I ordered this through a store in Manchester. It took ages but it was worth the effort. I wanted it to be a contrast to the no-nonsense vibe of the GS2 so I ordered a flame top, fake binding, chrome pickup covers, cream plastic bits and telecaster knobs. I also specified the same SG Special style wrap-over bridge from the cheaper model because it works so well. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived to find another of my requests had been granted. Mr Smith had signed the headstock. With the options, freight, import duty and customs charges this was no longer a cheap guitar but is still in my opinion worth every penny.
